Research Assistant at Technische Hochschule Augsburg under Prof. Dr. Christopher Robeller, specialising in robotic fabrication, relational data systems, and computational design for complex timber structures. My research spans physical fabrication cells, generative AI models, and graph-based data frameworks at the boundary between architectural research and industrial timber production. Teaching in the Digitaler Baumeister and Architecture programmes.

Work

2023 - Present - Research Assistant
Technical University of Applied Sciences, Augsburg
Research in robotic fabrication, tools creation, and methodology. Involved with developing the Technology transfer center in Aichach with new timber fabrication methods and designs. Teaching in both Architecture and DBM courses.

2023 - Present - Founder -
Åhlund Design Works AB
Gothenburg, Sweden
Design studio focused on educational training for digital fabrication and bespoke artefacts.

2021 - 2023 -  Research Assistant
Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden
Developed tools and methods for Chalmers Architecture’s robot lab in conjunction with the reserach project Hybrid Composites under Prof. Jonas Runberger. Instructed students in the carpentry workshop for the Architecture faculty.

2021 - 2022 - Co-Founder -
Misc.Studio AB
Gothenburg, Sweden
Co-founded the design studio with Mathew Tang and Poppy Bell. Created digital fabrication tools and objects to foster local marine habitates through the additive manufacturing of clay habitat modules.

2021 - 2022  - Co-Founder -
Misc.Lab
Gothenburg, Sweden
In conjunction with the design studio Misc.Studio AB, the nonprofit Misc.Lab focused on local pedogogical  events raising awarness of local habitates and a crowdfunded pavilion in the heart of Gothenberg’s habor.

2018 - 2021 - Teachers Assistant
Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden
Helped teaching architectural courses at various levels, focused on digital architectural representation. Conducted student training for the safe operation of the workshop and digital manufacturing tools.
